Werabe University (WRU) ወራቤ ዩንቨርስቲ

Werabe University (WRU) is one of higher education institution in Ethiopia located in Werabe town located 172 Km southwest of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Worabe University is a fourth-generation university established in 2018 G.C. The foundation stone was laid down on 29th November 2007 E.C (December 8, 2014 G.C) by the then Prime Minister of Ethiopia His Excellency Hailemariam Desalegn. The construction of the university was started immediately on a total land area of 137 hectares which was given by the city administration of Werabe town.
